With your Support
As a nonprofit organization, the center relies heavily on donations from the community, individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses. They are important because these donations help run the day to day operations of the center. From $1 to $100,000, every penny counts and is gratefully accepted. It costs about $1500 a year to provide services to each student. Each donation is greatly appreciated and valued.
With your generous support, we have been able to educate those who have needed it the most. With multiple volunteers, hard work and dedication, we are proud of what our center has accomplished over the past 50 years. By educating hundreds of people within our local community, the center provides them with a second chance for new opportunities.
"I graduated from your school. I am now an educated, hard-working, business owner, operating out of Newport Kentucky. I came to a point in my life where I realized I needed to get my act together and educate myself. I first came to the East End Adult Education Center in pursuit of that goal, though I wasn’t very motivated yet. When I didn’t show up to school, your ladies would call me and ask me, “Are you coming to school today?” Because they did, it made me think about why wasn’t I there. Their encouragement kept me going, and I received my GED in 2008. I received my Associate of Applied Business, Business Management in 2010. Then in 2015, I finished my Automotive Technology and finally got certified as an automotive technician in 2023. I opened my doors for business as Miss Fixit and Family LLC in 2023. I am now celebrating nine months of being in business. "
